Sorry to make the only comment in a long time a negative one, but I find Karen Schweitzer’s blog posts to be little better than spam comments, as she obviously just does a quick Google search and then writes a couple of lines on each one. Does she actually use any of these sites???

I've just joined the www.english360.com team as Teacher Community Coordinator, we'll be launching our platform shortly with a special focus for Business English teachers globally - to help educators share content and exchange ideas as well as offer support on using new web 2.0 tools with business English learners. As a member of many of these communities myself I know how invaluable it can be to bounce ideas off each other, it's great the web has opened up a sort of global staff room which can provide new springboards and lots of sparks. I've found that for many business English trainers there's a lot less isolation thanks to online teacher communities. Finding the niche one or two, I also feel is important so you can be more actively participant and logically gain more from the experience.
