I know many teachers who do incredible things in their classrooms that I think needs to be shared with the other teachers both to celebrate their success and to serve as a source of inspiration and creativity.
That is the reason I am starting “SPREAD YOUR ENTHUSIASM” series. This will be an ongoing series and open to teachers from all around the world.
Please contact me if you want to contribute by recommending a teacher or by spreading your own enthusiasm!

My most recent blog post brought out passion and enthusiasm for teaching as one of the top qualities!
I did a similar poll in a Facebook application and it looks that teachers too agree with this! Look at the results here!
Warm & friendly with all students 6
Patient and tolerant with difficulties 8
Knowledgeable about their subject 2
Creative and versatile with materials & techniques 15
Enthusiatic & passionate about teaching 38
What you are trying to do is take this to the next level. If enthusiasm, a passion for teaching is so important to our learners, how do we help others “catch” it too?
How can we make it so contagious that it become an irresistible force which can bring about educational change and happier students.
I really look forward to this series, Burcu!
What a great idea!
